Descrição

Shaktipat is a spiritual practice that aims at intimate contact with our inner world and discovering our Supreme Truth. It is beyond any religion, nationality, cultural background, gender, age, and even atheism. It was developed by rishis (ancient Indian sages) who, upon observing the anguish and suffering of human beings, were willing to understand and find a way to alleviate them, opening up the possibility of lasting experiences of peace, love, and happiness.

Shaktipat is known as an “effortless path” as it does not require the use of mind control, asanas (postures), pranayamas (breathing), mudras (gestures), or mantras (chanting). The important thing is to practice meditation with love, devotion, and surrender.

These are some of the teachings made available to everyone in this book by Swami Nardanand. We invite readers to immerse themselves in these luminous words, which may open doors to a new vision of themselves and, as a consequence, of others and the world.

Siddha Master Swami Nardanand was born in the agricultural village of Sakin, in the State of Uttar Pradesh, North India. As a specially gifted boy, at age 12, with the blessing of his family, he was taken to the holy city of Haridwar, on the banks of the Ganges River, to join the “Gurukul” education system, which is the old way of training in the Sanskrit language and spiritual matters.

He graduated in philosophy and is an ayurvedic doctor. In 1988, he became acquainted with the Shaktipat meditation system and was initiated by siddha Master Swami Shivom Tirth, a recognized master of the Siddha Maha Yoga lineage. Swami Nardanand visited Brazil for the first time in 2010 and held meditation retreats and Ayurveda-related activities. Upon his return in 2011, he introduced the Shaktipat meditation system in the country. Then, with the support of Swami Satya Maa and other disciples, he founded Siddha Maha Yoga do Brasil. Since then, he has frequently traveled to and stayed in Brazil as a resident, and regularly participates in face-to-face and virtual meditation retreats in Brazil and several other countries.
